My current version of the website began development in early 2025. My goal was to have more control over the site, because I like tinkering... and to avoid a yearly ~$250 bill from Squarespace.

CoolerControl documentation and template

I contributed documentation to CoolerControl for setting up the application on Unraid systems, and made a template for the Unraid community applications store. The documentation includes thorough instructions and explanations that make it easy for users of varying technical levels to set up CoolerControl.

CoolerControl-Docker

In March 2025, I developed and maintained a Docker container distribution of CoolerControl, an application that allows for fan control on Linux systems. It was downloaded more than 2,500 times. I built out processes to maintain the container automatically, maintain documentation for the container, and field support issues for users. My work demonstrated the interest in this to the official developers who launched their own official container in July 2025.

North American Energy Resilience Model

At Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, I worked on marketing content and technical writing for the North American Energy Resilience Model, including building out content for the webpage on the Department of Energy website.

PNNL Celebrates DOE Justice Week 2023

A campaign I worked on at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. I interviewed researchers and built out a webpage to highlight PNNL's efforts in environmental justice.

World Humanitarian Day social posts

I wrote social media copy and scheduled posts to celebrate the UN’s World Humanitarian Day in 2020. I helped with the development of video content to feature organizations around the world doing philanthropic work.

Social media cards A/B testing system

I pitched and then implemented a system for the non-profit organization Global Business Coalition for Education that allows for the creation of multiple social media cards that all send the user to the same webpage, allowing GBC-Ed to re-share the same content without it appearing “stale.” It also allows for A/B testing to find the most effective card layout.

Youth Skills - Resilience social campaign

I wrote copy for a social media campaign highlighting a new report that the non-profit had launched. I worked with the Twitter Ad Platform to schedule and promote the posts.

HenGer Design - Sunsphere pins charity drive

I helped HenGer Design edit website copy, write social media posts, and with optimizing their website for social media. I also assisted with reaching out to local media, where they received coverage from multiple outlets for their charity drive. The charity drive raised over $1,300 for Knox Mobile Meals.

Inside the Innovations

I helped conceptualize and execute this social media campaign at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I made example posts to help visualize the format for the campaign, and also helped decide what the goal of the campaign should be. The campaign focused on highlighting lab staff who would not normally be showcased in other lab media. I personally interviewed five people for the project and put together the website and social media copy for all of the initial ten highlighted staff.

Big Orange Robotics Website

I put together the website for Big Orange Robotics using Squarespace as well as some custom HTML and CSS.

Big Orange Robotics Videos

With limited time and resources, I worked with one other student to plan, record, and edit the video coverage of the Big Orange Robotics robot in 3 days team in 2019. All five of these videos were produced in a 72 hour time period and received thousands of views.

Big Orange Robotics

I founded and ran this Robot in 3 Days team. I organized sponsorships, selected members and leaders for the team, helped develop our visual brand identity, and handled our relationships with other teams and the University of Tennessee. We had a very successful season and built an impressive robot with limited resources.

Smoky Mountains Regional Business Summit

The SMRBS is a small conference the L&N STEMpunks hosted, and I was primarily in charge of organizing it in 2015 and 2016. I booked venues, made catering arrangements, and even marketed the conference to teams.

I designed most of this website while in high school for my high school robotics team. Another student built the basics, and I used basic HTML and CSS knowledge to add features and content.
